Late Nights at Northern Lights Casino

The floor through the night

Sunday to Wednesday, the casino floor opens at 9 AM and runs to 4 AM. A Monday night on the slots, for instance, ends at 4 AM on Tuesday. From Thursday to Saturday the floor stays open 24 hours, so a late arrival off the road still finds it running.

Saturday night is the gap. Whether the floor keeps running past midnight into Sunday morning is something the casino leaves unsaid. Between midnight and 9 AM on Sunday, its phone line at 306-764-4777 is the check. All times here are Prince Albert local time, because Saskatchewan holds to Central Standard Time, UTC-6, the whole year.

The week, part by part

Late food and the bar

The Deli serves casual food, including items from Kookum's Kitchen. Sunday to Wednesday it runs from 9 AM to 3 AM. Thursday to Saturday it is open 24 hours, with the same Saturday-night question as the floor: after midnight into Sunday, phone first. Takeout orders go through the casino's main line, 306-764-4777. The Floor Bar serves spirits and pints from 10 AM to 2 AM every day.

With the card, SIGA Rewards members save 10% on an order from a restaurant or the Deli. The bar closes at 2 AM, the same hour as the live tables. Past that point, food comes from the Deli on the nights it keeps going.

Tables and poker on their own clock

Live table games run from 6 PM to 2 AM every day, including Blackjack, Texas Hold'em and Crazy 4 Poker. Poker starts earlier in the day. Monday to Friday it opens at 5 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday at 3 PM, with a 2 AM close all week. The casino does not publish the number of tables or any table minimums.

After 2 AM, only the floor and the Deli keep going. The floor runs to 4 AM Sunday to Wednesday and 24 hours Thursday to Saturday, while the Deli runs to 3 AM early in the week.
